Fellowship Stream
We are all on a journey with God! Some of us have just started and others have been going for years!To keep going we need to encourage and pray for one another and build each other up in our faith. There are various opportunities to gather together for worship as well as for social activities & events. BUT... the best way to build and strengthen your faith is to be in a CELL GROUP A Cell Group has about 12 members who meet regularly to encourage one another, to study God’s word, to listen, share and pray together. Here your faith will grow, your gifts will develop and your daily life will be helped and supported. Jesus said that he did not come to be served but to serve. Everyone has a part to play in the church—we are all vital parts of the body! There are many ways to put gifts into action, to keep abilities exercised, to help and serve others. Whilst we support one another in our daily lives we are also passionately committed to the people we live and work alongside—and especially the community (or parish) we serve in Kendal. It takes time to settle in to church but our hope is that you will quickly find that you belong and that you can help and serve in the mission and ministry of St Thomas’ church.
