Evangelism Stream
Our desire is to be good news wherever we are!Jesus is good news in a broken world and He calls His followers to be and share this good news generously at all times. Sadly, down the centuries, the church seems to have sometimes been more bad news than good and this has often left a sour taste in the mouth. Our behaviour and our words can help to turn this desperate situation around today. We want to help people to consider Jesus, who calls us to come and follow him and find rest. The Alpha course is a good place to start! This is the most popular course for those wishing to find out more about the Christian faith for themselves. We run several courses each year (daytime & evening) and, as well as lots of guests, we need people to help in many ways both as group leaders and helpers as well as in the ‘task force’ which gets things ready, prepares the food, sets up the room, and clears up afterwards, etc. Party in the Park Once a year we throw a party for the local community—just to give a ridiculously generous dose of blessing to people which reflects God’s heart and ours for those we live amongst.
