The Pastoral network offers support and prayer for those who need a bit more time & help. The network comprises people of all ages and experiences, and serves church members and the wider community as we bring God’s love to one another.
The first route of support and help is usually found within the Cell Group as members care for each other, pray for and help one another as needed. The Pastoral network offers a bit more time and ministry to those who need extra help and support at critical times of sadness, anxiety, distress, grief or pain.
God is our saviour, healer and helper. We are always aware that we can do nothing ourselves but everything in Him who promises to hear us and help us when we pray and call out to Him.
We have a Prayer Ministry Team of people willing to pray sensitively and in confidence for those who would like a prayer for themselves or someone on their mind. Prayer is available at Sunday services and during the week by arrangement.
Regular training opportunities are arranged to help church members develop pastoral skills and sensitivity in supporting and praying for others. Our hope is that every church member will look out for others who need their love and help at specific times of difficulty or distress.
