 Our Children’s work, focussed around the 11.15 Sunday service, will find us either with the adults in 'Big Church'! or at 'DJ' having fun and meeting God together.
Our 'all together' services are children friendly and have even been accused of being fun! - we have these twice a month. Our ‘DJ’ (group) weeks are usually the middle two in the month.
We start at crèche– not surprisingly pretty much all we do in crèche is play, cry, sleep and fill nappies - and that’s just the staff! There is a crèche every Sunday 11.15 service.
 We then move up to Sparklers. Here we start to learn about Jesus.  We play, share stories and sing songs
and have I mentioned we play?
Sparklers is for kids in nursery to year R.
All those who are.....................
Amazing (year 1-3 ) andFantastic (years 4 -6)  come next and spend time with Chris and our craft team or with Tim ‘doing’ something!
We have made giant posters, edible easter gardens, mess, pictures from stones, more mess, books and loads of crafty things!
With Tim we have done a treasure hunt, eaten a giant cookie, gone crazy, played games and even washed each others feet –gross!
When we get together we sing our worship*, such classics as – Great Big God – Tiny Little Me – Hands Hands Fingers Thumbs – Up down turn around – I once was frightened of Spiders - Whoopah Wahey – Lovely Jubbly and so much more.
DJ - Discovering Jesus, is all about worshipping God, learning about him (and us) and living as his team.
*Worship is all about saying ‘I love you’ whatever it is that we worship. So it only has any value if we choose to say those words. That means we place a lot of value on the choice that anyone makes about whether they worship or not. We want to introduce folk to someone, Jesus, who we believe is worth saying ‘I love you’ to!
